| History of Successful Innovations |
| Founded in 1905 in Brooklyn, NY, Eclipse is one of the oldest names if the bedding industry and was the originator of the sleep sofa. Eclipse developed the clinically proven and patented Spinal Zone and Lumbar Zone systems and also maintains over 200 trademarks worldwide. In May 2000, Stuart Carlitz, President of the Therapedic Sleep Products of New Jersey, and Gerald Gershaw, Chairman, Emeritus of Therapedic International, purchased Eclipse and all intellectual properties. They move Eclipse International's headquarters to North Brunswick, NJ and continued the pace of innovation with the development and launch of Allergy Free bedding. |
